Lisa Persaud, Msc-SLP
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lisa Persaud received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Winnipeg. In 2008, Lisa attended the University of North Dakota and completed a Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Upon graduation, she moved to Regina and began working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with adult inpatients at the Regina General Hospital, followed by Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
In 2015, Lisa transitioned from clinical practice to an administrative role within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This included roles within Patient Safety and Risk Management, followed by Medical Student Affairs with the Academic Health Science Portfolio and the University of Saskatchewan. Throughout this time, Lisa continued to practice part-time as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the private sector.
Lisa is passionate about life-long learning and personal development. She has completed Lean Improvement Leader training and a Professional Leadership Certificate from the University of Regina.
Lisa and her family are proud to call Saskatchewan home.
