Josée Levasseur, M.Sc.S., LSLS Cert. AVT graduated from the University of Ottawa Masters programme in Health Sciences with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology in 1995. During her twenty years of practice, she contributed to the field of communication disorders as a Speech-Language Pathologist, an Auditory-Verbal therapist, a clinical supervisor for students in communication disorders and education from the University of Toronto, York University and McGill University. She has taught courses and has been a guest lecturer in the field at York University, College des Grand Lacs, Moncton University and McGill University. Josée was involved in the development of the universal Hearing Screening program in Ontario. She has practiced in Ontario and Quebec and moved to Regina in 2010 where she is currently working in the private sector in English and in French. As well as being a practicing member of SASLPA, Josée is a certified member the Alexander Graham Bell Association of the Deaf (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist-Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist).
Josée was hired by SASLPA and started working as the Registrar in November 2015.
