Practicing Membership

Practicing Membership is available to the speech-language pathologist or audiologist who is eligible for a license to practise speech-language pathology or audiology issued by SASLPA.

Provisional Membership

Provisional Membership is available to applicants who have submitted the required documentation and fees while their application is in progress.

Non-Practicing Membership

Non-Practicing Membership is available to speech-language
pathologists or audiologists who are initially registered as a full
practising member but who are not currently employed in speech-language pathology or audiology in Saskatchewan. Members
must apply annually for non-practicing membership status and
may be granted non-practicing status for a maximum of three
consecutive years.

Temporary Membership

Temporary Membership is available to the speech-language
pathologist or audiologist from another jurisdiction who intends to
provide services to Saskatchewan residents during the course of
the training or research they are undertaking or for some other
short-term reason.

Retired Membership

Retired Membership is available to speech-language pathologists
or audiologists who are initially registered as a full practicing
member through the SASLPA, but are retired and are not currently
employed in speech-language pathology or audiology in
Saskatchewan.
